Can I buy Bitcoin with cash in Panama?+
Yes. Torero Coin is a physical exchange desk in Panama City. Bring US dollars and walk out with Bitcoin, USDC or USDT, or the other way around. Stablecoins settle one to one with the dollar.
How much does it cost to exchange?+
You pay a percentage, or a fixed minimum on small amounts, whichever is higher. The percentage drops as you move up the loyalty tiers. Use the calculator above to see your exact number before you visit.
Do I need to do KYC?+
The desk operates without KYC up to defined limits, which covers most everyday exchanges. For larger amounts, moving funds into a bank account, or international wires, you verify once in the client area.
Which coins do you exchange?+
Bitcoin, USDC and USDT, in both directions. You can bring cash for crypto or bring crypto for cash.
How fast is settlement?+
Same day, in person. Cash is counted in front of you and crypto is confirmed on chain before you leave.
