This page explains who Torero Coin is, how the desk and our upcoming account services work, how we handle your information, and the terms of using our services. It is a plain-language summary for transparency, not financial, tax or legal advice.
Who we are
Torero Coin is a physical cryptocurrency exchange desk at PH El Embajador, Calle 50, Obarrio, Panama City, Republic of Panama, operating since 2021. We buy and sell Bitcoin, USDT, USDC and other major cryptocurrencies for cash in person. Online client accounts and card services are in preparation and will be announced on this site. Contact: info@torerocoin.com, +507 6323-1992.
We are not a bank
Torero Coin is not a bank and does not take deposits or hold customer balances. Desk exchanges are settled in person, in full, at the moment of the exchange. We are not a custodian of your funds beyond that moment.
How wires and client accounts work
Bank wires, and client accounts when they launch, are provided through a third-party payment services provider. The provider performs identity verification, holds the verified information, and moves the money through its own banking network. Those funds travel directly between you and the provider; they do not pass through Torero Coin's own accounts. Torero Coin introduces you to the provider, assists you at the desk, and earns a commission on the service.
Identity verification (KYC)
Smaller in-person cash exchanges are available without identity verification, up to defined limits, measured across repeated visits. Above those limits, and always for bank wires and client accounts, we verify your identity. For account services, verification happens directly with our payment services provider through its verification platform: your identity documents go to the provider and are not stored on Torero Coin's systems.
Anti-money-laundering controls
We screen incoming cryptocurrency with blockchain analytics tools before settlement, apply identity checks above defined limits, and keep transaction records as required by applicable Panamanian law. We may decline any transaction at our discretion, and we cooperate with lawful requests from the Panamanian authorities.
Rates, quotes and settlement
Rates shown on this site are indicative and confirmed with you before any transaction. A quote becomes firm only when agreed in person or in writing. Cash is counted in your presence and crypto is confirmed on chain before you leave. Fees follow your loyalty tier and are shown before you agree.
Your privacy
We collect and store: your contact details when you reach out, transaction records (amounts, dates, wallet addresses and, for wires, destination bank details), and identity data only where the desk itself verifies you. Identity documents submitted for account services are held by our payment services provider, not by us. Our premises use security cameras. We do not sell personal data, and we keep records only as long as needed to serve you and meet legal obligations. Messages sent via WhatsApp, Telegram or Signal are handled on those platforms under their own terms. Under Panama's data protection law (Law 81 of 2019) you may request access, correction or deletion of your data at info@torerocoin.com, subject to records we must keep by law.
Risk disclosure
Cryptocurrency prices are volatile and can move sharply. Nothing on this site is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. You are responsible for your own decisions and for any tax obligations in your country of residence. Confirm all details before settling.
Contact and complaints
For questions, complaints, or requests about your data, contact info@torerocoin.com or +507 6323-1992. We aim to respond during desk hours.
